| T-Rex Bone-Aid Calci Sand T-Rex Calci-Sand is a fine granular calciferous sand specially prepared to be the ideal reptile cage substrate for snakes, lizards, tortoises, and turtles. It is the only substrate for reptiles to be not only ingestible, but digestible when swallowed. Being a mineral, it is safe in direct contact with heating elements and conducts heat well. Use with heat mats or cables buried beneath it. This sand does not harbor mites nor the growth of molds or fungus. It clumps readily to wet waste material, product is much better than Repti Sand, don't be fooled! Calci-Sand is actually made from bone material and is completely digestible, adding calcium when ingested. |
